Governance and team
Essentially, we are led by 12 principles that emerged from the experience of living in a group context and that propose a meta-leadership focused on continuous and inexhaustible research and practice of these same principles, as they are lived on campus and applied in our daily activities.
We are not associated with any spiritual, religious, or political organization nor do we follow systematic or doctrinal ideologies. With the designation of OSCIP (Civil Society Organization of Public Interest), we have developed a long and deep work in what receives the widespread name of ‘volunteering’, which we understand as the act of altruistically serving the common good and the development and expansion of human consciousness, centered on the universal axiom of “know thyself”.

We are a school for the integral development and awakening of human consciousness so that self-knowledge and one’s interrelationship with the Whole is realized.
In a context of living in group, we inspire the rediscovery of spiritual values, cooperation and selfless service, in daily life.
We enable self-knowledge by expanding the relationship of the individual with his internal dimension, with the society in which he lives and with the planet as a whole.
We promote Ethics, Peace, Citizenship, Human Rights and other universal values, through actions, projects and/or programs inspired by them, as well as through support and partnership with other organizations that work in related areas.
We promote the integration of a Culture of the Soul (set of experiences and discoveries that lead to a paradigmatic change in consciousness) with the new proposals of a Culture of Knowledge (Sciences, Philosophy and Arts, among others).
We promote the defense, preservation, conservation and sustainability of the environment.
We welcome and host all those who, in tune with the principles of this Statute, will participate in the experiences, courses and practical work we have to offer.
Promote volunteering (Law 9790/99 – article 7).
We stimulate the extension and levels of research in fields related to our objectives, bringing together educators, scientists, philosophers, artists and therapists, assuring them support to dedicate themselves to their activities and the application of this knowledge at the service of the integral development of human beings.
CIRCULAR ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
Central core: Associates
The highest instance of our University. This nucleus is composed of a group of people who share the same mission and wish to participate in decision-making and definitions about the future directions of the University, actively.
It is divided into two categories:
1) Friend Associates: those who have served voluntarily or as a paid collaborator by Nazaré Uniluz and emplyees who have the approval of the Board of Directors to participate in two ordinary assemblies with the right to a voice.
2) Effective Associate Members: Friend Associates who after participating in two ordinary meetings with the right to a voice have the approval of the General Assembly to become Effective associate Members, with the right to voice and vote.

The Board of Directors is formed by associate members of Nazaré Uniluz, from various sectors of society, of notorious professional capacity and elected by the General Assembly of Associates every two years.

Fiscal Council
The members of the Fiscal Council are elected by the members at the General Assembly and have the function of supervising the financial and accounting performance reports of the Institution, issuing opinions to the instances of the Board of Directors and associates.

Council of Elders
The members of the Council of Elders are elected by the associate members at the General Assembly, as a form of recognition for the work already done in the Institution. We consider the experience lived in the Institution, the life experience of the nominees, the ability to perform an impersonal and impartial listening and the willingness to serve with humility and to accept individual and group demands.
