Why educate for integral development?
The central role of an education aimed at the integral development of human beings is perhaps to help them understand, for themselves, the nature of separateness, with a view to awakening them to the unity of the universe.
At some point in its trajectory on the planet, humanity began to perceive itself as something separate from the rest of the world. The consequences of this worldview seem to be linked to the unbalanced way in which humanity relates to life, evidenced, for example, in the phenomena of environmental degradation and human relationships themselves.
The integral vision encourages human beings to develop their potential to the full and is essential for the prosperity of life.
An education that includes all aspects of the human being and encourages knowledge of the different dimensions of their existence.
How does Nazaré Uniluz work and contribute?
At Nazaré Uniluz, experiences take place within a campus whose atmosphere, simplicity and organization are conducive to each person being able to investigate their existential concerns for themselves.
This atmosphere has been cultivated for decades, and from it originated our basic methodology – Living in Group – a collective experience that offers infinite and unique possibilities for getting to know oneself and one's interrelationship with the whole.
A non-dogmatic educational system, open and receptive to all who seek to understand the unity of life, which transcends the professional training of traditional educational institutions.
For example, what we call "classrooms" are simple everyday activities such as cooking, planting, organizing spaces and washing dishes. The act of performing these seemingly ordinary tasks becomes an extraordinary practice with the support and inspiration from the 12 principles practiced at Nazaré Uniluz.
How are donations used?
All the funds received by the institution are used to support the team and for the continuous improvement of the facilities and well-being of the people who come to the campus.
Nazaré Uniluz has been a non-profit institution since its foundation.
The institution operates based on simplicity and altruistic service, which can be observed and experienced in everything offered on campus.
The sources of income that support our work come from the people who visit the space and participate in our programs, the sale of handmade products and donations.
Your donation will be used for the care and maintenance of the physical structure, the salaries of the 22 employees and collaborators, the food, accommodation and health costs of the residents and volunteers, and to fund the scholarships that are offered to support those who come to us.

How can companies contribute to Nazaré Uniluz?
With financial donations: companies can make one-off, monthly or annual donations that will support the work carried out by Nazaré Uniluz in the short or long term. These donations may also be tax-deductible for the company.

What else can you donate to Nazaré Uniluz?
You can also contribute by donating various items that the institution needs to function: table, chair, sofa, bookcase, cupboard, lamp, sheet, mattress, pillow, towel, blanket, heater, etc.
Kitchen and pantry: cooker, blender, food processor, fridge, mixer and general utilities.
Construction, maintenance and cleaning items: tools, paint, bricks, tiles, cement, pipes, wood, hardware, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, water pump, cleaning utensils, etc.
For administrative activities: computers, stereos, printers, cell phones, projectors, etc.
