WHO WE ARE
Since its creation, the campus of Nazaré Uniluz has made itself available to anyone facing an existential moment that asks for a silent pause and a meditative deepening in the core of one’s own Soul, and offers the group support to live this directly and without intermediaries, in the infinite and luminous field of their own consciousness.
In the act of ‘telling the story’ we will try here to express and reveal what we are:
The official genesis of Nazaré Uniluz took place in the second half of 1981. José Trigueirinho Netto, spiritualist philosopher, speaker and author, began to gather people around the idea of carrying out, the following year, a spiritual and silent retreat, with deep studies and meditation practice, for six months, in the city of Belo Horizonte. When the initial group of interested people – coming from different cities in Brazil – was finally gathered, many strategic changes had already taken place and, on March 7, 1982, the group met in Nazaré Paulista, SP.

We are a University because we align ourselves with the essential origin of the word itself, that is, we are interested in researching and investigating meanings that involve the Whole: the Universe as a Unit poured into a captivating and enchanting multiplicity of events and processes that promote and stimulate investigation and self-knowledge.
Our classrooms transcend the conventional and include the totality of nature and all open or enclosed spaces in which human interactions of a personal and transpersonal nature take place to create essential and transformative learning.
